AI Usage (Tasting Warning)
Gurmion uses advanced AI models to provide you with the best recipes and analyses. But as every chef knows, you never serve without tasting first:
• Visual Representation: AI-generated dish visuals are for inspiration. Physical results may vary based on ingredient quality.
• Cost Analysis: Estimates are based on market averages. Not definitive commercial investment advice.
• Hallucination: AI may rarely produce incorrect information. Expert review is recommended for critical decisions.
Account and Payments (Bill)
Kitchen Points (MP) Terms of Use
- 1.Definition: Kitchen Points (MP) is a digital measurement unit representing the right to use AI services (chat, image analysis, recipe creation, etc.) within the Gurmion platform.
- 2.Not Currency: MP is not electronic money or a security. It is not a substitute for Turkish Lira, Dollar, Euro, or any other currency and cannot be used as a store of value.
- 3.In-Platform Use Only: MP can only be used for AI services within the Gurmion platform (OpenAI GPT-4, Vision AI, image generation, data analysis, etc.). It has no validity outside the platform.
- 4.Non-Transferable: MP cannot be transferred to other users, gifted, or sold. Each user's MP balance can only be used in their own account.
- 5.Non-Cashable: MP cannot under any circumstances be converted to Turkish Lira or any other currency. Cash refunds cannot be requested for unused MP.
- 6.Refund Policy: In case of transaction errors or technical issues, only MP refunds are made. For payment cancellations, Turkish Lira refunds are processed via Iyzico (transaction reversal).
- 7.Validity: MP has no expiry date, but all MP is cancelled and non-recoverable when your account is closed or deleted.
- 8.Service Value: Each MP expenditure is used to cover the costs of third-party AI providers such as OpenAI API, Google Vision AI, and image generation services. MP amounts are determined based on the value of the service provided and operational costs.
- Security:Payments are processed with Iyzico guarantee. Your credit card details are not stored on our servers.
- Auto-Renewal:Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the period unless cancelled.
- Billing:An e-invoice is issued for subscription and credit package purchases and sent to your registered email address.
Intellectual Property (Original Recipe Rights)
The software, design, and AI models on the platform belong to Gurmion. However, the data you enter (your personal recipes, menus) is your property.
- Platform software, source codes, algorithms
- Gurmion brand, logo, design elements
- AI models and training methodologies
- Documentation and training materials
- Menu photos and recipes you upload
- Content and analyses you create
- Inventory and cost data specific to your business
By uploading your content, you grant Gurmion a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to display, process, and use that content in AI training on the platform. This license expires when you delete your account.
Liability Limits (Warranty Terms)
Service Guarantee
Gurmion strives to operate the platform at 99.5% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We accept no liability for service disruptions caused by technical failures, maintenance, or third-party service outages.
Liability for AI Outputs
Images, cost analyses, recipe suggestions, and other outputs generated by AI are for reference purposes. Gurmion cannot be held liable for damages arising from reliance on this information in commercial decisions. We recommend professional consultation for critical decisions.
Force Majeure
We accept no liability for inability to provide services due to events beyond our control such as natural disasters, war, terrorist acts, internet infrastructure outages, or government decisions.
Third-Party Services
Gurmion is not responsible for outages, data loss, or security breaches in third-party providers such as OpenRouter, Google AI, Iyzico, and Supabase. These services are subject to their own terms of use.
Maximum Liability Limit
Where any liability of Gurmion arises, the compensation amount cannot exceed the total amount paid by the user to the platform in the last 3 months. No compensation may be claimed for indirect, incidental, or lost profit damages.
Account Management and Cancellation (Reservation Cancellation)
Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- Your cancellation takes effect from the next billing period
- After cancellation, access to services continues until the end of the current period
- Cancellation path: Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel
Account Deletion
- You can request complete deletion of your account
- All your data will be deleted within 30 days per KVKK regulations
- Data subject to legal retention obligations (invoices, logs) is excluded
- Account deletion is irreversible
Gurmion's Right to Suspend/Close Accounts
Your account may be suspended or closed with warning in the following circumstances:
- Violation of terms of use (spam, abuse)
- Payment default (after 3 failed payment attempts)
- Illegal activities or violation of third-party rights
- Providing false information, identity theft
Prohibited Uses (Kitchen Discipline)
❌ Technical Violations
- Reverse engineering the platform
- Using bots or automation tools
- Sending requests in excess of API limits
- Exploiting security vulnerabilities
❌ Content Violations
- Uploading copyright-protected content
- Sharing misleading or false information
- Harmful, obscene, or hate-inciting content
- Spam or unsolicited commercial communications
❌ Account Violations
- System manipulation by creating multiple accounts
- Using another person's account without permission
- Sharing account credentials with third parties
- Attempting to manipulate the payment system
❌ Commercial Violations
- Sharing or selling credits
- Scraping data to develop a competing platform
- Bulk data scraping
- Unlicensed commercial use
Upon Detected Violation: We reserve the right to issue a warning for a first violation, temporarily suspend for repeated violations, permanently close the account for serious violations, and pursue legal action if necessary.
Updates and Changes (Menu Revision)
Gurmion reserves the right to update these terms of use due to legal regulations, technological developments, or business model changes.
Notification Process
- Minor changes: Announcement on the platform
- Major changes: Email notification 15 days in advance
- Price changes: Email notification 30 days in advance
Your Right to Reject: If you do not accept major changes, you may cancel your account within 15 days of the notification date. You may request a refund for your unused Kitchen Points under our Refund Policy (within 7 days of purchase).
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Turkish Law applies to the interpretation and enforcement of these terms of use.
Competent Authorities
- Consumer Transactions: Istanbul Consumer Arbitration Boards and Consumer Courts are competent (Act No. 6502).
- Commercial Transactions: Istanbul Çağlayan Courts and Enforcement Offices are competent.
