Refunds for unused credits and subscription terms.

01Legal Basis: Freedom of Contract (Code of Obligations) and the Turkish Commercial Code
Commercial Nature: Since the Gurmion service is provided to businesses (B2B), the parties act in the capacity of merchants and the statutory right of withdrawal under consumer law does not apply. Gurmion instead voluntarily grants the contractual satisfaction guarantee described below.
Limit of the Satisfaction Guarantee: The contractual satisfaction guarantee applies only to entirely unused credits. Once Mutfak Puanı (MP) usage begins, the guarantee expires — this follows from the contract terms, not from any statutory right of withdrawal.
027-Day "Unused Credit" Refund
Did you purchase Mutfak Puanı but haven't used any? You can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Customer satisfaction in the kitchen is paramount – you shouldn't have to pay before tasting!
Note: As this is a business-to-business (B2B) service, no statutory right of withdrawal applies; the parties act in the capacity of merchants. Instead, Gurmion offers a voluntary, contractual satisfaction guarantee valid for unused credits within 7 days.
03Types of Refunds
1. Unused Credit Refund
Conditions:
- No more than 7 days have passed since purchase
- No MP has been spent (balance must be full)
- For subscriptions, must be within the first billing period
Refund Amount: 100% full refund (the entire amount you paid)
2. Partially Used Credits (Special Case)
Conditions:
- No more than the 14-day contractual review window has passed since purchase
- A service quality issue must exist (technical failure, incorrect billing, etc.)
- A report must have been submitted to the support team
Refund Amount: Proportional to unused MP (e.g., if 30 of 100 MP were used, a refund equivalent to 70 MP is issued)
04Refund Application Steps
Check
Log in to your account and check your MP balance. If it's fully unused, you are eligible for a refund.
Apply
Send an email to info@kasparistanbul.com with your order number and registered email address.
Refund
Once your application is approved, the refund will be credited to your card within 3–7 business days.
Processing Times
- Application Review: 1–2 business days
- Post-Approval Bank Transfer: 3–7 business days (depending on your bank)
- Maximum Total Time: 14 business days (our committed service window)
05Non-Refundable Situations
- Used Credits: If any portion of purchased MP has been used (e.g., spent on tools like Görsel Gurme or Menü Mühendisi), the full refund right is forfeited. However, partial refunds may be considered if there is a service quality issue.
- Time Limit Exceeded: Refund requests are not accepted after the 7-day contractual satisfaction guarantee window granted for unused credits has passed.
- Subscription Renewal: Applications made after automatic subscription renewal are not considered for the past period – only future period cancellation is processed.
- Promotional/Discounted Packages: Different refund conditions may apply to packages purchased during special campaigns. Please check the campaign terms.
- Abuse: For accounts that systematically purchase and refund, the refund right may be suspended if abuse is detected.
06Subscription Cancellation (Separate Process)
Cancelling your subscription package is different from a refund application:
In-Platform Cancellation
Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel
Your cancellation request is processed immediately, but your services remain active until the end of the current period. No payment will be taken for the next period.
Cancellation by Email
Send an email to info@kasparistanbul.com with the subject "Subscription Cancellation"
Our support team will process your cancellation within 1–2 business days and send a confirmation email.
Important: Subscription cancellation and current-period refund are different processes. Cancellation stops future payments; a refund means recovering your past payment.
07Your Contractual Rights
This refund policy is not a statutory right of withdrawal; it is a contractual right that Gurmion voluntarily grants to your business under the principle of freedom of contract.
Competent Authorities
- Contact Us First: Send your refund request to the email address above; we review it as a priority and strive for an amicable resolution. www.ticaret.gov.tr
- Mandatory Mediation: For commercial disputes, applying to mediation is mandatory before filing a lawsuit (Law No. 6325).
- Competent Court: If the dispute cannot be resolved, the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Commercial Courts and Enforcement Offices are competent.
