Vermicelli Soup (Şehriye Çorbası)

Melt butter, add tomato paste and sauté briefly.

Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Add the vermicelli and cook per package instructions (about 8-10 minutes).

Season with salt, red pepper flakes and dried mint.

Adjust consistency with hot water if needed. Serve hot.
