Turkish Olive Pastry

Preheat oven to 180C.

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Add yogurt and oil, knead into a soft dough. Do not over-knead.

Cover with plastic wrap and rest 15 minutes.

Roughly chop black olives and set aside.

Pinch off walnut-sized dough pieces, flatten in palm, place olive pieces in center.

Seal and shape into rounds. Line tray with parchment and arrange with space between.

Brush tops with egg yolk and sprinkle with nigella seeds.

Bake 20-25 minutes until golden on top.

Serve warm; perfect for breakfast or with tea.
